Breaking News ~ US deploys Naval Laser Guns near Iran
All fire departments should know the government can now commit arson on Americans 3 miles up. But who cares, right? The government can break all the laws it wants too.
The United States Navy announced on Monday that it will deploy laser weapons in the Persian Gulf. According to reports, the prototype weapon can burn a hole through an enemy vehicle and also send a blast of energy that will confuse an enemy's computer system without inflicting any real damage. The US plans on having the new laser cannon fully operational within the next year and many believe that the move comes as a warning to Iran regarding their nuclear activity. Alexandra Toma, nuclear nonproliferation expert and a Truman Fellow, explains how this prototype could be a game changer.

April 9, 2013
Mike Rivero is the webmaster of http://whatreallyhappened.com/ and host of the What Really Happened radio shows on the Republic Broadcasting Network. Formerly with NASA, Michael transitioned his image processing skills (along with a brief stint as an actor) into the then-new motion picture computer animation field and has worked on films such as "Star Trek", "The Day After Tomorrow", and has supervised visual effects on "Brainscan," "LOST", and "Hawaii Five-0." Michael has taken a sabbatical from film work to focus all his efforts on peace activism. Michaels foray into blogging began before the word was even invented, and happened almost by accident when he spotted a suspicious photograph being broadcast on ABC news in 1994 related to the death of White House deputy Council Vincent Foster. Since that sudden beginning, Michaels website has expanded to cover diverse topics including the JFK assassination, the accidental shoot-down of TWA 800, election fraud, health issues, Saddams non-existent nuclear weapons, 9-11, the economy, and of course, the lies used to trick the United States into wars of conquest on Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Iran. Michael resides in Hawaii with his wife Claire, who is a composer and creates much of theme music used on the What Really Happened radio show.
The Bilderberger ~ Turning Point by Press For Truth
The Bilderbergers are an international group composed of European Royalty, Wall Street investors, politicians, international bankers, prominent businessmen, media executives, and military leaders from around the planet. "Those in attendance include leading political and financial figures from the United States and Western Europe," proclaimed Allen. Allen also says that it is probably "not accidental," that less than one person in 5,000 is aware of this group. Jim Marrs wrote, "The Bilderbergers are a group of powerful men and woman-many of them European royalty--who meet in secret each year to discuss the issues of the day." Bilderberg HotelThe first official meeting of the Bilderbergers took place at the Hotel de Bilderberg in Oosterbeek, Holland in May 1954. It was formed in part by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, a former Nazi. "The primary impetus for the Bilderberger meetings came from Dutch Prince Bernhard," wrote author Marrs, "a former member of the Nazi Schutzstaffel (SS) and an employee of Germany's I.G. Farben in Paris." The Rockefellers and Rothschilds are said to have played an important part in its inception also. Pictured right is the Hotel de Bilderberg in Oosterbeek, Holland.(*)global policy. There are about 110 regulars," he says, including, "Rockefellers, Rothschilds, bankers, heads of international corporations and high government officials from Europe and North America." These people meet at varying locations around the planet.Referring to the financial elite's various fronts, Professor Marrs wrote, "Comprising themselves in the form of the Bilderberger Group, they have met at least annually since 1954." Their meetings are by invitation only, and according to Gaylon Ross, of the three interlocking Think Tanks, they are the most secretive. They are also the most influential. Their meetings are financed by the Tax-exempt Foundations. Allen asked, "Why do the Ford, Rockefeller and Carnegie foundations finance the meetings if they are not important?" In 1964, Dan Smoot acknowledged this elite group when he wrote, "The 'Bilderbergers' are another powerful group involved in the internationalist web." Speaking of the interlocking membership, he proclaimed, "American firms associated with the society are said to be among the large corporations whose officers are members of the Council on Foreign Relations and related organizations." The Bilderbergers have close ties to Europe's nobility such as the British royal family, as well as royalty from Holland, Sweden and Spain. They also contain the same representatives in finance and industry as their counterparts, The Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations. There is also a heavy cross-membership with the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations. "As with the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderbergers Steering Committee is or was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations."

Build up to WW3 - Will North Korea Collapse and Implode into China or S.Korea? Agenda & Whats Next
Build up to WW3 - Will North Korea Collapse and Implode into China or S.Korea? Agenda & Whats Next
Report from Dr. Steve Pieczenik at Korean DMZ
China has intervened in the deepening Korea crisis by summoning the ambassadors of North and South Korea, as well as the United States, to warn tensions must be defused on the Korean peninsula.
The abrupt set of exchanges came after Pyongyang shut down the last shared link with the South by refusing entry to almost 500 South Korean workers who work in a cross-border industrial park.
Zhang Yesui, the deputy foreign minister, outlined Beijing's "serious concern about the present situation", and added that it expects the escalation of tension to cease.
"All sides must remain calm and exercise restraint and not take actions which are mutually provocative and must certainly not take actions which will worsen the situation," said the Foreign ministry.
Dr. Steve Pieczenik is a critically acclaimed author of psycho-political thrillers and the co-creator of the New York Times best-selling "Tom Clancy's Op-Center" and "Tom Clancy's Net Force" book series. He is also one of the world's most experienced international crisis managers and hostage negotiators. His novels are based on his twenty years experience in resolving international crises for five U.S. administrations.
North Korea is sending lots of signals that it's about to start World War III. While there is a real risk that some misstep or miscalculation might accidentally start a conflict, and while it is certainly possible that the country could repeat a smaller-scale attack like its November 2010 shelling of South Korea's Yeonpyeong Island, there are some very good reasons to think that Pyongyang is bluffing about full-scale nuclear war.
Still, it's worth asking: Could North Korea carry out its "U.S. Mainland Strike Plan," apparently detailed on a chart in Kim Jong Un's war room, in which it launches simultaneous missile attacks on Guam, Hawaii and major cities on the West and East coasts? What about its threatened "precision nuclear strikes" against the U.S.?
The U.S. Navy is moving a warship and a sea-based radar platform closer to the North Korean coast in order to monitor that country's military moves, including possible new missile launches, a Defense Department official said Monday.
The decisions to move at least one ship and the oil rig-like SBX-1 are the first of what may be other naval deployments, CNN has learned.
They follow weeks of belligerent rhetoric from North Korea, including threats to use nuclear weapons.
The United States and South Korea have gone ahead with joint military exercises despite the threats, and South Korea warned Monday that any provocative moves from North Korea would trigger a strong response "without any political considerations."
The United States has bolstered the exercises with shows of force that included overflights by nuclear-capable B-2 stealth bombers, massive Cold War-era B-52s and F-22 Raptor stealth fighters.
China has placed military forces on heightened alert in the northeastern part of the country as tensions mount on the Korean peninsula following recent threats by Pyongyang to attack, U.S. officials said.
Reports from the region reveal the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) recently increased its military posture in response to the heightened tensions, specifically North Korea's declaration of a "state of war" and threats to conduct missile attacks against the United States and South Korea.
According to the officials, the PLA has stepped up military mobilization in the border region with North Korea since mid-March, including troop movements and warplane activity.
China's navy also conducted live-firing naval drills by warships in the Yellow Sea that were set to end Monday near the Korean peninsula, in apparent support of North Korea, which was angered by ongoing U.S.-South Korean military drills that are set to continue throughout April.
North Korea, meanwhile, is mobilizing missile forces, including road-mobile short- and medium-range missiles, according to officials familiar with satellite imagery of missile bases.
HAARP ? Quake Hits Iranian Nuclear Plant
A strong earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale has struck the town of Kaki near the southern Iranian city of Bushehr, killing at least 32 people and leaving more than 850 injured. According to the Iranian Seismological Center, the quake has hit the town of Kaki, some 90 kilometers southeast of Bushehr, at 4:22 pm local time (1152 GMT) on Tuesday at a depth of 12 kilometers.
The quake was followed by at least four aftershocks which jolted Kaki and the nearby city of Khour-Mowj. The Persian Gulf Arab states of Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have also felt the shocks from the quake.
The Russian company that has constructed the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant said the quake has not affected the operations in the facility. The plant is located 18 km south of Bushehr and about 160 kilometers away from the quake-stricken region.
"The earthquake in no way affected the normal situation at the [Bushehr nuclear] reactor. Personnel continue to work in the normal regime and radiation levels are fully within the norm," RIA Novosti quoted an official at Atomstroyexport as saying.

Marc Faber : "Don`t think the North Koreans are acting alone," he said. China is in cahoots with the North, he said, despite Beijing`s tough talk against Pyongyang over the weekend. China`s foreign minister said it would not allow "trouble making" on its doorstep, while Chinese President Xi Jinping appeared to rebuke North Korea during a speech, in which he said no country should be allowed to cause chaos "for selfish gain." Faber noted, "In general, [North Korea] is a country that can hardly produce bicycles. They have practically no industries. How can they have nuclear technology? How can they supply weapons to Iran?" He claimed that "China is using the North Koreans" to do their dirty work. - in CNBC Squawk Box

Guests: Robert Young Pelton, Robert Zimmerman
Author and adventurer Robert Young Pelton discussed global war trends, his experiences working with private military contractors, as well as geopolitical hot spots. Regarding North Korea, he characterized the country as one of the last holdovers of the Cold War-- still reacting from the Korean War in the 1950s. "The leadership of the country is very similar to Saddam Hussein and some of the older dictatorships, where to stay in power they can do whatever they want-- they don't have anyone to regulate them," he noted. However, North Korea's recent bout of aggression, posturing, and saber-rattling was actually instigated by one of the US' military exercises, not Kim Jong Un, Pelton pointed out.
While American troops are dwindling down in Afghanistan, private contractors are on the increase there, he reported. Many retire from the US military, only to get similar jobs as contractors for more money, he explained. "I was surprised at how many contractors were integrated into the fighting force," non-uniformed civilians performing things like intel gathering, interrogations, training, and servicing of equipment, he remarked. If a quick military action is required such as setting up a drone base, "they use contractors because they can call them up and they can be there with exact skills and then they can send them home and nobody knows about it," Pelton revealed.
The real tinderbox today is the evaporation of the middle class all around the world, he stated. The bedrock of stability is being eroded, and predatory government systems like in Cyprus are preying on its citizens, he said. What we're seeing in the Arab Spring is a predominance of young people who have no future economic prospects, and this is a very dangerous trend, he continued. Afghanistan is experiencing an extraordinary brain drain-- all the young people that worked with Americans because of the aid money, are getting visas to Europe, and "that's what's going to plunge Afghanistan back into the stone age," he warned.
Space Exploration Update
First hour guest, space historian Robert Zimmerman reacted to NASA's announcement that they will not lead efforts for astronauts to return to the moon. Private companies however are likely to spearhead getting humans into orbit, "and eventually the profits from that are going to pay for further exploration, which will get us to the moon, and beyond," he commented. Innovations from companies like SpaceX are reducing costs for launch vehicles such as their Falcon 9 system, which helps to increase their customer base beyond NASA, he added.

Is The World On The Verge of A Nuclear War ?
North Korea on Tuesday urged all foreign companies and tourists in South Korea to evacuate because it says the rival countries are on the verge of nuclear war. Analysts see the warning on Tuesday as another attempt to stoke fear, and consider a direct attack on Seoul as extremely unlikely. South Korean President Park Geun-hye, who has sought to re-engage North Korea with dialogue and aid since taking office in February, expressed exasperation Tuesday with what she called the "endless vicious cycle" of Seoul answering Pyongyang's hostile behaviour with compromise, only to get more hostility. U.S. and South Korean defence officials have said they've seen nothing to indicate that Pyongyang is preparing for a major military action. But they have raised their defence postures, and so has Japan, which deployed PAC-3 missile interceptors in key locations around Tokyo on Tuesday as a precaution against possible North Korean ballistic missile tests. Analysts say North Korea's rhetoric and actions are intended to force Pyongyang-friendly policies in South Korea and Washington and to boost domestic loyalty for Kim Jong-un, the country's young and still relatively untested leader. North Korea recalls workers from industrial complex A factory complex that is North Korea's last major economic link with South Korea was a virtual ghost town Tuesday after Pyongyang suspended its operations and recalled all 53,000 of its workers as part of its recent posturing. Sacrificing jobs in poverty stricken nation Pyongyang said Monday it would recall all North Korean workers from Kaesong and would decide later whether to shut it down for good. Shutting it permanently would sacrifice jobs in a poverty stricken nation that according to the U.S. State Department has a per capita GDP of just $1,800 per year. Japan deploys missile defenses in Tokyo amid North Korea concerns Japan deployed missile-defense systems at three sites around Tokyo early Tuesday ahead of a possible missile launch by North Korea, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said. The Patriot missile batteries were set up in the central district of Ichigaya and in the suburbs of Asaka and Narashino, Suga told reporters Tuesday. The deployments come as U.S. and South Korean officials warn Pyongyang could be preparing for another provocative move after weeks of belligerent rhetoric. Suga had said Monday that the Japanese government would not publicize any missile-defense deployment, saying "It would show our strategy to North Korea." The comments came a day after North Korea said it would pull out all its workers and temporarily suspend operations at the industrial complex it jointly operates with the South, the latest sign of deteriorating relations on the Korean Peninsula. The North said it would also consider permanently closing down the Kaesong Industrial Complex, a shared manufacturing zone that is the last major symbol of cooperation between the two countries. On Tuesday morning, the South Korean Unification Ministry said North Korean workers hadn't so far reported for work. "north korea" ww3 "world war 3" warning war threat japan patriot missiles tokyo asia "south korea" korea korean interceptor seoul prepared precaution tensions u.s. "united states" evacuation evacuate crazy nwo "new world order" agenda "war games" occupation bomb nuclear "nuclear war" "nuclear bomb" test serious situation exercise "ballistic missile" american defense 2013 2014 planned bilderberg dialogue president obama sanction peace liberty citizens army "breaking news" news media report economy china future trends trending trendy alex jones infowars russia today gerald celente david icke lindsey williams farrakhan 829speedy The deteriorating situation in Kaesong came after the South Korean government had briefly caused concern about the prospect of a new North Korean nuclear test. South Korea's Unification Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae's office clarified his earlier statements in the day about North Korea's nuclear test plans by saying the North had been "continuously preparing" for another nuclear test since February, and that there hadn't been any new signs. There was some confusion that earlier comments may have suggested new information indicating the North's nuclear test plans -- something that could have ratcheted up tensions with North Korea. The minister's office made clear that this was not his intended meaning. An analyst says he believes that there is a great danger of a the United States sparking a nuclear war with China or Russia over Syria, Iran or the Koreas yet thinks that no such threat exists by North Korea. The comment comes as Russia has warned that a possible nuclear conflict on the Korean Peninsula would be far more destructive than the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986. "I would make no secret about it, we are worried about the escalation on the Korean Peninsula because we are neighbors," Russian President Vladimir Putin made the comment at a joint press conference with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday. Putin noted that if something bad takes place "Chernobyl...may seem like a child's fairy tale. Is there such a threat or not? I think there is."
