BREAKING - Waco Texas Fertilizer Plant Explosion
Major Explosion Reported at Fertilizer Plant.
(CNN) -- An explosion ripped through a fertilizer plant Wednesday night in West, Texas, CNN affiliate KWTX reported.
A photo taken after the explosion -- which reportedly happened around 7:50 p.m. (8:50 p.m. ET) -- showed a huge plume of smoke rising high into the air.
The West Fertilizer Plant is located about 20 miles north of Waco. A school and a nursing home are among the buildings near the plant.
Authorities did not respond immediately to CNN's requests for comment on Wednesday night.
Tommy Alford, who works in a convenience store about three miles from the plant, told CNN that several volunteer firefighters were at the store when they spotted smoke.
Alford said the firefighters headed toward the scene and then between five and 10 minutes later, he heard a massive explosion.

As I predicted in my book The Emergency Transformation of Human Beings www.jasonliosatos.com we are immersed in a new wave of insanity as the money and precious metals system becomes more and more transparent as the transient, illusory system that it always was and always will be. People psychologically become accustomed to, and believe in the money system very early in their childhood, conditioned by the system we are born into, and by our copy cat responses, programmed into us by our parents who were also victims of victims, though of course they did their best for us with the situation and the knowledge they had, at that given time.
We are facing the prospect of a financial collapse of such proportion, that its consequences would scare us to death, and such a crash would make generations of peoples efforts and suffering over many hundreds or thousands of years a tragic and terrible waste. This system of money and debt is a malignant cancer, and can be likened to a gangrenous limb on the body of the planet, and society, which is killing most people spiritually and physically, and if it is not amputated and discarded very soon it will destroy the whole body. It is undoubtedly a Frankensteins monster and must be stopped somehow before it not only destroys itself, but destroys people’s lives even more than it already has.
Most brave people worldwide put on a courageous mask daily, and dare not say how they feel, or voice their innate, secret fear of helplessness, as they bravely go about their day, barely scratching a living to pay bills and eat. And let us not further fall into the trap of saying “it could be worse” and “there is noting we can do about it”, because that hopeless attitude has plunged us further and further into ruthless hands of our controllers, our puppet masters, who pull our strings as we dance in fear to their tune of dependency, and pluck our strings of trust.
No longer must we beg in demonstrations for a little bit more of this or that, like Oliver Twist asking “please sir may I have some more” : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZrgxHvNNUc and let us not scratch around under the oligarchs dinner tables for their crumbs, but let us set new dinner tables for ourselves and believe at last that we can look after ourselves, completely independently of psychotic leaders who are steering us ever closer to the outcomes and consequences of their insane financial games and war games that are destined to destroy us. NBC. Federal agents on Wednesday arrested a suspect in the mailing of letters to President Barack Obama and a U.S. senator that initially tested positive for the poison ricin.
The suspect was identified as Kenneth Curtis of Tupelo, Miss., federal officials told NBC News.
Both letters carried an identical closing statement, according to an FBI bulletin obtained by NBC News on Wednesday.
According to the FBI bulletin, both letters, postmarked April 8, 2013 out of Memphis, Tenn., included an identical phrase, "to see a wrong and not expose it, is to become a silent partner to its continuance."
In addition, both letters are signed: "I am KC and I approve this message."
The letter to Obama was intercepted at an off-site White House mail facility and was being tested further, the FBI said. A federal law enforcement official said that the letter was "very similar" to one addressed to Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss.
Two federal officials said late Wednesday that an initial laboratory test on the material in the letters was inconclusive. The test shows some level of ricin, they said, but the potency is uncertain. They cannot tell whether the material is actually harmful or not. So more tests have been ordered.
The sender of the letters, one official said, "may have stumbled onto something," but it's unknown if he actually made full-blown ricin toxin.
Ricin is made from castor beans and can kill within 36 hours. There is no antidote. Some threatening letters simply contain ground castor beans, resulting in a positive field test for ricin without the concentrated poison. Results from full laboratory tests are expected in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Filters at a second government mail screening facility also tested positive for ricin in preliminary screening Wednesday.
An FBI official told NBC News that the agency did not initially believe the letters were related to the attack on the Boston Marathon on Monday.
Authorities also for a time cleared the atrium of a Senate office building Wednesday, removing suspicious envelopes and a package, before reopening the offices. Capitol police were also investigating a suspicious package at the office of Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala. Shelby's staff had not been evacuated.
The Wicker letter had no return address. The FBI confirmed the preliminary positive test on it Tuesday. That letter was intercepted at a postal facility in Maryland that screens mail sent to Congress, and never reached Wicker's office.
Other senators were made aware of the Wicker letter during a briefing Tuesday evening on the bombing in Boston. Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., said that the person who sent Wicker the letter writes often to elected officials.
People can be exposed to ricin by touching a ricin-laced letter or by inhaling particles that enter the air when the envelope is opened. Touching ricin can cause a rash but is not usually fatal. Inhaling it can cause trouble breathing, fever and other symptoms, and can be fatal.
At a hearing Wednesday on the Postal Service's finances, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe said that while there have been ricin scares in the past, the recent discoveries were unprecedented.
"There's never been any actually proved that have gone through the system," Donahoe said. "But we've got a process that we make sure that our employees know -- We can actually track the mail back through the system to double check from an employee health standpoint."
Field tests are conducted anytime suspicious powder is found in a mail facility, and the FBI cautioned that field tests and other preliminary tests can produce inconsistent results. When tests show the possibility of a biological agent, the material is sent to a laboratory for full analysis.

BREAKING : Marathon Boston Bombing Suspect First Description
BOSTON - Investigators believe they have identified a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing from security video and an official statement was expected later in the day, a U.S. law enforcement source said on Wednesday.
However, no arrest had been made, three separate U.S. government and law enforcement sources told Reuters.
Police may make an appeal to the public for more information at a news conference scheduled for later on Wednesday, a U.S. government source said.
Earlier, CNN reported that a suspect was in custody, citing law enforcement sources. But then the network cited three sources who said no one was under arrest after all.
The identification of a possible suspect marked the most significant publicly disclosed break since Monday's blast at the marathon finish line killed three people and injured 176 others.
Investigators were also searching through thousands of pieces of evidence from cell phone pictures to shrapnel shards pulled from victims' legs.
Based on shards of metal, fabric, wires and a battery recovered at the scene, the focus turned to whoever may have made bombs in pressure cooker pots and taken them in heavy black nylon bags to the finish line of the world-famous race watched by crowds of spectators.
A stretch of Boston's Boylston Street almost a mile long and blocks around it remained closed as investigators searched for clues in the worst attack on U.S. soil since the hijacked plane strikes of Sept. 11, 2001.
Cities across the United States were on edge after Monday's blasts in Boston. Adding to the nervousness was the announcement that mail containing a suspicious substance addressed to a lawmaker and to President Barack Obama. The FBI said, however, that agents had found no link the attack in Boston.
The blasts at the finish line of Monday's race injured 176 people and killed three: an 8-year old boy, Martin Richard, a 29-year-old woman, Krystle Campbell and a Boston University graduate student who was a Chinese citizen.
Boston University identified the student as Lu Lingzi.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
"Whether it's homegrown, or foreign, we just don't know yet. And so I'm not going to contribute to any speculation on that," said U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who until January was Massachusetts' senior senator. "It's just hard to believe that a Patriots' Day holiday, which is normally such time of festivities, turned into bloody mayhem." - Reuters

Knowing as she did that the euro would not work she saw that this was a very dangerous design. Now we in UKIP take that same view and I tried over the years in this parliament to predict what the next moves would be as the euro disaster unfolded.
But not even me, in my most pessimistic of speeches would have imagined, Mr Rehn, that you and others in the Troika would resort to the level of common criminals and steal money from peoples' bank accounts in order to keep propped up this total failure that is the euro.
You even tried to take money away from the small investors in direct breach of the promise you made back in 2008.
Well the precedent has been set, and if we look at countries like Spain where business bankruptcies are up 45% year on year, we can see what your plan is to deal with the other bailouts as they come.
I must say, the message this sends out to investors is very loud and clear: Get your money out of the Eurozone before they come for you.
What you have done in Cyprus is you actually sounded the death knell of the euro. Nobody in the international community will have confidence in leaving their money there.
And how ironic to see the Russian prime minister Dmitry Medvedev compare your actions and say, ' I can only compare it to some of the decisions taken by the Soviet authorities.'
And then we have a new German proposal that says that actually what we ought to do is confiscate some of the value of peoples' properties in the southern Mediterranean eurozone states.

And I am minded that there is a new Mrs Thatcher in Europe and he is called Frits Bolkenstein. And he has said of this parliament - remember he is a former Commissioner: 'It is not representative anymore for the Dutch or European citizen. The European Parliament is living out a federal fantasy which is no longer sustainable.'

Years ago, Mrs Thatcher recognised the truth behind the European Project. She saw that it was about taking away democracy from nation states and handing that power to largely unaccountable people.
Knowing as she did that the euro would not work she saw that this was a very dangerous design. Now we in UKIP take that same view and I tried over the years in this parliament to predict what the next moves would be as the euro disaster unfolded.
But not even me, in my most pessimistic of speeches would have imagined, Mr Rehn, that you and others in the Troika would resort to the level of common criminals and steal money from peoples' bank accounts in order to keep propped up this total failure that is the euro.
You even tried to take money away from the small investors in direct breach of the promise you made back in 2008.
Well the precedent has been set, and if we look at countries like Spain where business bankruptcies are up 45% year on year, we can see what your plan is to deal with the other bailouts as they come.
I must say, the message this sends out to investors is very loud and clear: Get your money out of the Eurozone before they come for you.
What you have done in Cyprus is you actually sounded the death knell of the euro. Nobody in the international community will have confidence in leaving their money there.
And how ironic to see the Russian prime minister Dmitry Medvedev compare your actions and say, ' I can only compare it to some of the decisions taken by the Soviet authorities.'
And then we have a new German proposal that says that actually what we ought to do is confiscate some of the value of peoples' properties in the southern Mediterranean eurozone states.

Fox Pulls "Hoax" Episode of Family Guy
The Fox network has pulled an episode of Family Guy which depicted scenes eerily similar to those that unfolded during the Boston Marathon attack, despite the media still persisting with the claim that the episode was a "hoax" and that anyone who talked about it was an "abhorrent" conspiracy theorist.

Jones suggested that the media is opportunistic after events like the Boston bombing, replaying disturbing footage over and over again. They only tell us to care and have empathy for the victims, "because they're selling an agenda on their backs, on their pain, to get rid of our republic and due process, and bring in tyranny," he exclaimed.
A plan to launch 30,000 autonomous drones in the US for surveillance of citizens is afoot, but Jones is even more concerned about surveillance that can be done from cell phones, computers, and smart meters. "Why is the Elite wedded to this idea of putting this digital skin, this smart dust into place?" he asked. It's because they want to track and trace people, socially engineer them to become pliable and submissive, so they can ultimately be exterminated, he explained. Jones warned of a coming technocratic conversion to a "post-human" state where people could merge with machines via nanotechnology and genetic engineering, "and those of us who don't accept the augmentation will basically be stepped on like a cockroach." He also addressed his controversial appearance on the Piers Morgan show discussing gun control.

OBAMA to Use BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING Tragedy to DESTROY 2nd AMENDMENT
Actor and comedian Jay Mohr waded into the gun debate on Twitter after Monday's deadly terrorist attacks at the Boston Marathon.

Mohr, who hosts a podcast and Jay Mohr Sports on Fox Sports Radio, followed it up with another tweet connecting the Second Amendment to a "culture of violence."
Following push back on Twitter, Mohr elaborated on his contention further, explaining that he finds it sad that gun massacres are becoming increasingly common.
"Newtown tragedy was gun violence. Where are u maniacs coming from. I'm just stating that its so sad we're getting used to watching it on tv," he tweeted.
He further stressed that his aim was not to politicize the event, but instead to point out what he described as a cultural numbness to violence.
"No politics here at all," he tweeted. "Just sick of watching bloodshed on tv. It's become reality tv and we're becoming numb. Amazed at pro gun responses"
Officials investigating the Boston Marathon attack say early evidence suggests the culprit is likely to be a homegrown "domestic extremist," leaving the path clear for the Obama administration's political adversaries to be demonized as extremists.
Richard DesLauriers, the special agent in charge of the Boston FBI office, asserted, "The person who did this was someone's friend, neighbor or coworker," ruling out the possibility that the attack was carried out by foreigners who entered the United States.
Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss, the top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee, went further, telling reporters, "There are a lot of things that are surrounding this that would give an indication it may have been a domestic terrorist."
Dutch Ruppersberger of Maryland, the top Democrat on the House intelligence, said the investigation was leaning towards the likelihood that the bombings were the work of a "lone wolf" extremist.
If the bomber turns out to be a stereotypical "right-wing extremist," President Obama will likely follow the advice of a number of Democratic strategists who have openly invited acts of violence that Obama can exploit to push his big government agenda.
Despite zero tangible evidence so far indicating that the attack was carried out by an anti-tax protester or a "right-winger," numerous personalities on the left have made the connection anyway.
- Just hours after the bombing, Michael Moore blamed the Tea Party for the tragedy, tweeting "2+2 =" followed by "Tax Day. Patriots Day."
- A Salon.com opinion piece published last night entitled, "Let's hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American," expressed the desire that the "bomber ends up being a white anti-government extremist."
- Former Bill Clinton advisor David Axelrod also hinted yesterday on MSNBC that the attack could have been a form of tax protest.
- A US Forest Service PR rep also took to Twitter to blame the bombing on the Tea Party, writing, "I fear nutty logic goes like this ... Patriots Day. April 15. Tax Day. Bad government. Boston. Tea Party. Let's show 'em.

This kind of rhetoric led statewide organizer for the Massachusetts Tea Party Carlos Hernandez to express his anger at opportunists milking the tragedy for political points scoring. Hernandez lost his 8-year-old nephew Martin Richard, who was the youngest victim of the bombing.
"I just hope the politicians don't try to show up at the funeral," said Hernandez. "If these guys try to use it as political crap, I might get arrested."

3D printing revolution smells of gunpowder and more
Home manufacturing may well be the next technological revolution, changing our life as much as computers, mobile phones and the internet have. But the world may not be prepared when some of the consequences, such as printable weapons, arrive.
The promise of 3D printing technology was hailed by Barack Obama in his latest State of the Union speech in February.
"A once-shuttered warehouse is now a state-of-the art lab where new workers are mastering the 3D printing that has the potential to revolutionize the way we make almost everything," the US president said, pledging to make sure that this revolution happens in America first.
In every house in a decade?
3D printers are devices that use digital models of objects to produce their real copies, printing them layer by thin layer over minutes, hours or sometimes days. Every year the technology is being refined, allowing better materials and more detail in the items produced.
The technology is becoming cheaper too. MakerBot, a major producer of 3D printers and at the forefront of the expected revolution, is selling its latest Replicator 2 desktop printer at a relatively accessible US$2,200, roughly the equivalent of a desktop computer. And it is overflowed with orders.
"The demand is much greater than our supply right now. We are actually ramping up and expanding rapidly to meet that demand," the company's PR Director Jenifer Howard told RT.
Soon a new device is to give a considerable boost. In March, MakerBot announced a prototype of a 3D scanner, which would be able to digitalize a real-life object and make it into a printable file. If that proves successful, entry to 3D printing will become much easier, with little requirement to learn computer-assisted design to get what you want. The already big database of models is likely to explode.
But among those models you will likely find more notorious things than plates and card holders. Thingiverse.com, the popular repository of 3D blueprints, contains questionable items like bongs for smoking pot. What it does not contain is printable weapons, but not because they don't exist. Cody Wilson, a 25-year-old law student at The University of Texas School of Law in Austin is the person whose name comes to mind when 3D printed guns come up. For years the goal of the self-described crypto-anarchist and his followers was to create a fully printable firearm and make it available for everybody on the net.
Just like the printers, Wilson's creations are getting better over time. The latest achievement of his Defense Distributed project demonstrated in March was a printed plastic lower receiver for an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle that can fire more than 600 rounds.
This part of the gun is essentially what makes a firearm a firearm. Everything else, including ammunition, is much less regulated and can be easily bought in the US. Other items he wants to make available to everyone are high-capacity magazines, which the White House seeks to ban.

Viewing newly released photos of bomb fragments and shrapnel from the explosion site, Baer, a former CIA Operative gave his expert insight and perspective on the findings.
"It's a pressure cooker," explained Baer. "You can get on the internet and look this stuff up," said Baer about the bombs.
"But the point is, the actual practice, I really do believe somebody knew what they were doing."
