Father of Reaganomics Paul Craig Roberts discusses how the American middle class is being systematically dismantled by means of destroying the ladders of upward mobility and offshoring US manufacturing as well as skilled jobs to China and India.
He also explains how the rule of law has been eviscerated, greasing the skids for the evisceration of the Constitution and the undue monopoly of power in the executive branch of government, which has created a dictatorial system that threatens political stability.

PCR notes how the police are now being trained that the American public are the enemy and that this is the reason for the dramatic rise in needless police brutality, showing again the breakdown in accountability and the rule of law.

Moving on to the economy, Roberts points out the dichotomy of America being the new global empire while simultaneously outsourcing its manufacturing, engineering and software jobs to China and India, destroying upward mobility and eviscerating the middle class, while also killing the dollar as a result of huge trade deficits. "That's the funny thing about this new neo-con version of empire," notes Roberts. "It rose up right when we were destroying the middle class and the manufacturing base and the dollar," pointing out that the strong dollar as a trusted global reserve currency was the foundation of American power in the first place.

Halliburton Pleads Guilty for Destroying Evidence in 2010 Gulf Oil Spill

Halliburton Energy Services has pled guilty to destroying evidence involved in the 2010 Gulf Oil spill.

You probably remember the 2010 fiasco where millions of gallons of oil spilled into the Gulf of Mexico after a BP oil rig caught fire and exploded, killing 11 workers.

Well, after that incident BP tried to blame Halliburton, its cement contractor, for shoddy construction of the oil well's production casing. Production casing, among other things, keeps the oil well from erupting under pressure and uses centralizers to keep it centered away from the well walls.

Apparently when Halliburton advised BP, it recommended using 21 centralizers but BP ignored the advice and decided to go with six.

Now I don't know that much about the physics of this, but I have a hard time believing that 6 can do the same job as 21.

What helped BP's case though was that Halliburton showed them a 3-D simulation of the well using 21 and six centralizers and in the simulation, there was little difference between the two. Halliburton employees were allegedly directed to destroy the model after the oil spill. The model still hasn't been recovered.

The US Justice Department filed a charge against Halliburton for destroying the evidence and today it announced that Halliburton pled guilty, agreeing to a $200,000 dollar fine and a 3-year probation.(http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2013/Ju...)

Essentially Halliburton admitted that it had backed up BP's decision to cut corners and then tried to make amends by pleading guilty and donating $55 million to the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Prominent Yemeni journalist Abdulelah Haider Shaye has been released from prison after being held for three years on terrorism-related charges at the request of President Obama. Shaye helped expose the U.S. cruise missile attack on the Yemeni village of al-Majalah that killed 41 people, including 14 women and 21 children in December 2009. In a statement, the White House now says it is "concerned and disappointed" by Shaye's release. Jeremy Scahill, national security correspondent for The Nation whose new book and film is "Dirty Wars: The World is a Battlefield," says that from the U.S. to Yemen, the Obama administration has engaged in the "criminalization" of independent journalism. "This White House seems intent on having the only information that journalists have access to [remain] official leaks, when it is meant to make the White House look noble and saving the world for peace, freedom, and democracy," Scahill says. "Any independent reporting, or talking to sources that are not official, is frowned upon and at times prosecuted. ... The fact they had a Yemeni journalist jailed in a Yemeni court and kept him in prison there and are now deeply concerned and upset that he's been released, speaks volumes about this administration's attitude toward journalists."

Scahill continues: "Look at this White House's position on whistleblowers and on journalists. You had the seizure of the Associated Press phone records. You have record numbers of prosecutions and indictments under the Espionage Act. You have what I think amounts to a criminalization of independent reporting. This White House seems intent on having the only information that journalists have access to official leaks, when it is meant to make the White House look noble and saving the world for peace, freedom and democracy. And any independent reporting or talking to sources that are not official is frowned upon, and at times prosecuted."

"There was a recent court decision that I think is very disturbing. James Risen of The New York Times has been ordered to testify against a source of his who was a whistleblower. You have Bradley Manning's trial coming to conclusion. The charge against him of aiding the enemy boils down to an assertion that anyone who provides information on the Internet, that then can be read by a terrorist, is somehow aiding the enemy. Drone strikes ordered by Obama are killing innocent children world wide. Up to now 178 to be exact. He will have to face war crimes some day for his murders. In reality what he is doing is merely obeying orders from the british crown. They are the ones that need to be arrested . Of coarse its probably not going to happen, but if enough people wake up, and stand up for what is right, you just never know what might happen. There are even legal documents available to view , concerning the arrest warrant for the Queen. This might sound stupid to some people , but I cant help that . But if you want to know what is really going on in this world of ours , you need to give your life to Jesus Christ / Yeshua and be filled with the holy spirit. Then ask the lord to spiritually open your eyes
