New Egyptian War: Americans Lose, Again

We lose another one.
Looking at the banners in the massive Egyptian protests last week, we saw many anti-American slogans. Likewise, the Muslim Brotherhood-led government that was deposed by the military last week was very critical of what it saw as US support for the coup. Why is it that all sides in this Egyptian civil war seem so angry with the United States? Because the United States has at one point or another supported each side, which means also that at some point the US has also opposed each side. It is the constant meddling in Egyptian affairs that has turned Egyptians against us, as we would resent foreign intervention in our own affairs.
For more than 30 years, since the US-brokered Camp David Accord between Israel and Egypt, the US supported Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak. Over that period the US sent more than $60 billion to prop up Mubarak and, importantly, to train and seek control over the Egyptian military. Those who opposed Mubarak's unelected reign became more and more resentful of the US, which they rightly saw as aiding and abetting a dictator and denying them their political aspirations.
Then the US began providing assistance to groups seeking to overthrow Mubarak, which they did in 2011. The US continued funding the Egyptian military at that time, arguing that US aid was more critical than ever if we are to maintain influence. The US Administration demanded an election in Egypt after Mubarak's overthrow and an election was held. Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood won a narrow victory. The US supported Morsi but kept funding the Egyptian military.
After a year of Morsi's rule, Egyptians who did not approve of his government took to the streets to demand his removal from power. The US signaled to the Egyptian military that it would not oppose the removal of Morsi from power, and he was removed on July 3rd. With the overthrow of the Muslim Brotherhood-led government came the arrest of many politicians and the closure of many media outlets sympathetic to them. Then the US government warned the same Egyptian military that undermined democracy that it needed to restore democracy! Is it any wonder why Egyptians from all walks of life are united in their irritation with the United States?
Despite the Egyptian government being overthrown by a military coup, the Obama Administration will not utter the word "coup" because acknowledging reality would mean an end to US assistance to the Egyptian government and military. That cannot be allowed.
Instead, we see the same Obama administration that is on a worldwide manhunt for pro-transparency whistle-blower Edward Snowden demand that the Egyptian military exercise "political transparency" in its dealings with the ousted Muslim Brotherhood-led government.
So, successive US administrations over the decades have supported all sides in Egypt, from dictator to demonstrator to military. There is only one side that the US government has never supported: our side. The American side. It has never supported the side of the US taxpayers who resent being forced to fund a foreign dictatorship, a foreign military, and foreign protestors. It has never supported the side of the majority of Americans who do not wish to get involved in the confusing internal affairs of countries thousands of miles away. It has never supported the side of those of us concerned about blowback, which is the real threat to our national security. Unfortunately, US administrations continue to follow the same old failed policies and Obama is no different. More intervention, more foreign aid, more bullying, more empire.

Beginning in 1992, Marrs spent three years researching and completing a non-fiction book on a top-secret government program called the Stargate Project involving the psychic phenomenon known as remote viewing, only to have the program canceled as it was going to press in the summer of 1995. Within two months, the story of military-developed remote viewing broke nationally in the Washington Post after the CIA revealed the program.
In May 1997, Marrs' investigation of UFOs, Alien Agenda, was published by HarperCollins Publishers. Publishers Weekly described Alien Agenda as "the most entertaining and complete overview of flying saucers and their crew in years." The paperback edition was released in mid-1998. The situation in Egypt is extremely complicated and changing constantly. The arguments between the military and the Muslim Brotherhood go back over half a century and they are much more complicated than the press tends to give them credit for. It's history in the making. What happens in Egypt now will certainly determine the future of both the Middle East and the world in general. While the French and Russian revolutions seem so far away now, it's important to remember how they shaped us, and one day, we will similarly remember the Egyptian Revolution. Thousands of supporters of Egypt's ousted President Mohamed Mursi protest in Cairo while a military-driven plan to resolve the political crisis remains mired in mistrust and confusion.
Mursi was toppled Wednesday in a takeover the military denies was a coup.
His supporters say they have the numbers on their side.
The opposition is also out in force after transitional authorities had been set to appoint liberal politician Mohamed ElBaradei, before his candidacy was thrown into doubt when a hardline Islamist party objected.
Russia's Vladimir Putin in Kazakstan says he fears a civil war.

"Syria is already in the grip of a civil war. No matter how sad this sounds, Egypt is moving in the same direction. I would like the Egyptian people to avoid this possible negative development."
Washington has not condemned the military takeover or called it a coup, prompting suspicion within the Muslim Brotherhood that it tacitly supports the overthrow.

It will begin with an internal revolution, followed by an attack from the combined forces of Russia, Cuba, Nicaragua, Central America, and Mexico, Johnson explained. American will be defeated in one hour, he added. Johnson foresees a time when Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, work together as an Islamic super-power to launch World War III against Israel. Israel will ultimately prevail, he noted. A world government will eventually be established, with Russia at its head, Johnson predicted. He also talked about aliens from a biblical perspective, identifying them as the 'sons of God' mentioned in scripture; a forthcoming 'mark of the beast' injection that will repair DNA and heal disease; and the end of the elected presidency, with Obama being the last to hold the office.

Eustace Clarence Mullins, Jr. (March 9, 1923 – February 2, 2010) was a populist American political writer, biographer. His most famous work is The Secrets of The Federal Reserve. Along with Nesta Webster, he is generally regarded as one of the most influential authors in the genre of conspiracism.
Eustace Clarence Mullins, Jr. was born in Roanoke, Virginia, the third child of Eustace Clarence Mullins (1899–1961) and his wife Jane Katherine Muse (1897–1971). His father was a salesman in a retail clothing store.
Eustace Mullins was educated at Washington and Lee University, New York University, the University of North Dakota and the Institute of Contemporary Arts (Washington, D.C.)
In December 1942, at Charlottesville, Virginia he enlisted in the military as a Warrant Officer. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Forces, with thirty-eight months active service during World War II.
Mullins frequently visited poet Ezra Pound during his period of incarceration in St. Elizabeths Hospital for the Mentally Ill in Washington, D.C. between 1946 and 1959. According to Mullins it was Pound who set him on the course of research that led to his writing The Secrets of The Federal Reserve
Mullins was a researcher at the Library of Congress in 1950 and worked with Senator Joseph McCarthy investigating Communist Party funding sources.He later stated that he believed McCarthy had "started to turn the tide against world communism". Shortly after his first book came out in 1952, he was discharged by the Library of Congress.
In the 1950s, Mullins wrote for Conde McGinley’s newspaper Common Sense, which promoted the second edition of his book on the Federal Reserve, entitled The Federal Reserve Conspiracy (1954). Around this time, he also wrote for Lyrl Clark Van Hyning's Chicago-based newsletter, Women's Voice. In 1995, he was writing for Criminal Politics. 'A large Chinese bank just last night ran out of liquidity and was bailed out by the government. Furthermore: "The seven-day repo rate, the benchmark rate for funding costs between banks, surged to 12.33% Thursday afternoon from the 8.26% rate at Wednesday's close. It had averaged around 3.30% this year before the liquidity crunch began at the end of last month." This is the same phenomenon that occurred globally in September 2008.'

After pressing the issue he stated "As for gold -- J.P. Morgan announced yesterday that their vault gold has dropped by 28.4 % over night. Nations are demanding physical delivery. Within a month and a half JP Morgan estimates their vault will run out (Be empty) Other vaults are probably running out also. WHAT HAPPENS THEN? Startling when supply dries up. This has many of us very concerned. Be sure that everything you own is in your posession. Crash -- I don't know. Be ready for a public reaction. Interest rates are the greatest factor controling the Derivative market. This could be violent".
